I have various fault code readers.
For VAG vehicles, I use VCDS, which can be used to read out data from all vehicles of the VAG group.
For BMW, I use the INSA system, which allows me to find errors and also to perform coding.
Mercedes vehicles are read and coded using the Star Diagnosis / Xentry system.
For all other brands, I have the BOSCH KTS and the Snap-On Tester available.
Having access to original circuit diagrams and descriptions allows me to find errors that cannot be read out.
Before replacing expensive parts, I try to prevent problems by first taking precise measurements and analyzing real-time data.
Cable breaks are unfortunately common in older vehicles. Thanks to the new Busching tester, I can pinpoint and repair cable breaks very precisely, thus preventing the need to replace entire wiring harnesses.
